How to use it

  1. Paste your list, one item per line.
  2. Choose options: ignore case, trim spaces, remove empty lines, sort.
  3. Copy the cleaned list. The counter shows how many duplicates were removed.

Examples

Email list

Deduping “ann@site.org, Ann@site.org, bob@site.org” with ignore-case on leaves two addresses and reports one duplicate removed.

Keeping order

Without sorting, the first time each line appears is kept in its original position, so the list's order stays meaningful.

How duplicates are detected

Each line is compared with the lines before it. With “ignore case” on, Apple and apple count as the same; with “trim spaces” on, leading and trailing spaces don't matter. The first occurrence is kept exactly as written.

Sorting uses natural order, so item2 comes before item10, and it respects accents.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with very long lists?

Yes. It runs in your browser and handles hundreds of thousands of lines quickly.

Is my text uploaded?

No. Processing happens locally, so it's safe for customer lists and other private data.

Can I keep the last occurrence instead of the first?

Not directly — but you can reverse your list, dedupe it, and reverse it back if order matters.
